Eventhough AirAsia has made their policies available to all customers but not many read it for whatever reasons. For ease of reading I have compiled all of them in this post and urge all to read it at least once before you book and fly with AirAsia :

1. Print your itinerary with the confirmation number. Have it handy for your flight. Air Asia is a ticketless airline.

2. Make any changes to your flight 48 hours before you’re scheduled to leave. You will pay a flight change fee and the fare difference.

3.Forget about changing the destination of your flight; it can’t be done. You will have to book a separate flight without a refund.

4.Check in at the counter 45 minutes to 2 hours before departure. You will not be compensated if you’re late.

5.Familiarize yourself with the destinations of departure cities. Although Air Asia services over 40 cities in 10 countries, only a few flights depart from most non-Malaysian cities.

7.No outside food onboard

8. Bring with you at all times – your Identity Card, or if you are a tourist, your Passport.

9. seats are limited and may not be available on all flights • valid for new purchases only

10. all fares are quoted for single journey (one-way) only and do not include taxes and fees. All taxes and fees must be paid at the time of purchase.

11. foreign fares and fees are subjected to currency exchange rates • offer is subject to availability, AirAsia Terms and Conditions

12. no refunds are permitted after payment has been made

13. guests travelling need to provide all necessary travel documents (eg valid passport, visa where applicable etc) at the time of departure. AirAsia reserves the right to deny guests from boarding without proper documentation

14. full payment shall be made upon booking

15. changes to name are not permitted
